As far as comfy couches go, La La Land is the ultimate. It’s
decorated in an orange, red and yellow glow, with the feel that
management have taken great lengths to ensure only the comfiest
couches have made it through the door. A sea of velour and velvet
awaits, with choosing your couch being a distressing predicament.
Our personal favourites were the two plain and unremarkable beige
ones in the far left corner – not as veloury as the others, but like in
the Holy Grail scene in Indiana Jones, once we had sat down, we
chosen wisely.

La La is your own big lounge room! It’s warmth and comfort. This is
the ideal venue for after work drinks, after dinner drinks, a quiet mid-
week drink, or a Friday/Saturday boogie.

With their kind table service you can just sit back and let the night
unfold. There is a reasonable selection of both red and whites,
international and local beers, and some satisfying snacks at hand.
Our new cocktail menu features some new La La Land Originals
that you won’t find anywhere else.

The music is kept at a level so you can still hear the person next to
you, which is great if you’re out on a date. The clientele range from
old to young, suits to casual, male to female. A nice even variety…
